City Mayor Dale Gonzalo “Along” Malapitan led the groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of the new Caloocan City Hall – North on Friday, August 11.
Owing to its unique situation among Metro Manila cities, Caloocan has two city halls for its north and south territories. When completed, the new North City Hall will serve as an upgrade to the facilities of the current one, and will be a complete replica of the South City Hall which was completed in 2017.

Mayor Along acknowledged the need for the construction of the new building to provide better services to the growing number of Caloocan residents.

Likewise, the City Mayor also noted that the new city hall project is just one of the efforts of the city government to make services accessible to the people and called on his constituents to help in taking care of it once constructed.
