“My perfume line started during a 2003 venture. My inspiration is my mom who always wear perfume. Whenever I smell someone wearing a perfume, for me, it is magical. It is like a representation of who he is or who she is. I came up with a perfume brand because I want to share the magic from wearing a perfume. The ingredients of our LIC perfumes are also the ones used for high-end brands. I want to reach an audience, like the students, where they can have an affordable yet high quality scents,” Rommel Rico shared when asked how he started this perfume venture.

“The Seductive is the closest to my heart and our best-seller. I had it launched last 2003 and while I had to cease selling it after how many years, I still have friends who would ask me if I can make it available in the market. Women, for one, wanted to be seen. They wanted to be desirable. If you wear this, it adds to the confidence and sexiness.”

As for their sustainability practice, he has this to say, “As a designer, I’m also a part of Sustainable World Act Now. For the perfume, there’s not much options in packaging. But as part of our sustainability program, they can purchase and get discount of 50 pesos if they bring the old bottles. This way, we’re able to reuse the bottles. We also make sure we use organic oils and not those with chemicals.”

Aside from the available scents he also mentioned, “Soon we will be launching two more scents. It is guaranteed to make you smell fresh! It is something you should all look forward to.”
